ANNOUNCING MAJOR ODA PUBLIC FORUM - London Ontario

All in Southern Ontario are Invited to make the ODA Trek to London on Saturday, November 17th.

A meeting for all interested in the Ontarians with Disabilities Act will take place in London on Saturday, Nov. 17, from 3:00 to 4:30 pm. David Lepofsky, the volunteer chair of the ODA Committee, is the invited speaker to help with your discussion. We hope for a really good discussion about the proposed new legislation: Bill 125, an Ontarians with Disabilities Act. Please come, listen and participate! Let us know what you think of this bill, and let's plan action together!

If you are anywhere in Southwestern Ontario or can otherwise get to London for this meeting, please come! Bring others with you!

The meeting will take place in the main-floor cafeteria of John Paul II Secondary School, an accessible space. John Paul II is on the Northeast corner of Oxford and Highbury. There is a Highbury exit off Highway 401 if you are coming by the 401, and there is also a Highbury exit off Highway 7 if you are coming from north of London. Parking is available.

If you are coming from within London or using public transit, the school is well served by buses. If you have particular questions please get in touch with Frances at email fbauer@uwo.ca or telephone at 1-519-672-6476.

ASL interpretation will be available from 3:00 to 4:30, and the school building will be open until 5:00 p.m.

Time for action is short. Let's work together to get Bill 125 improved so that it is strong and effective.

Please circulate this announcement far and wide.
