Thank you for your letters of September 10 and September 28 regarding the Ontarians with Disabilities Act Committee's recommendations for a consultation process. I appreciate the importance of this matter to you and other groups representing the interests of persons with disabilities.
I understand that your meeting with the Honourable Helen Johns, Minister of Citizenship, Culture and Recreation, took place as planned on September 28. I hope that it was productive and encourage you to continue to keep in touch with Minister Johns in this matter as her ministry has lead responsibility for disability issues.
