Windsor Essex ODA Committee Event
November 23, 1999

On Tuesday November 23, the Ontario Legislature will debate and vote on a resolution which calls for a strong and effective Ontarians with Disabilities Act to be enacted into law no later than two years from November 23, 1999. We want to ask you to attend the vote on that day, and to vote in favour of that resolution and to speak in favour of it too.

We need a strong and effective Ontarians with Disabilities Act. Two years is more than enough time for it to be enacted into law. We need this law for everyone who has a disability now, and for all the others who will get a disability sometime during their lifetime.

The members of the Ontarians with Disabilities Act Committee, Windsor-Essex Chapter will be joining together to watch the November 23rd debate on the ODA at Alpha House Apartments, 3185 Forest Glade in Windsor at 3:00 p.m. Members of the media will be invited to attend and accept comments while the debate is in progress.
