ANNOUNCING MAJOR ODA EVENT AT QUEENS PARK, TORONTO
TUESDAY NOVEMBER 23 1999 FROM 3 TO 7 PM

We are delighted to confirm for you that there will be a major ODA event at Queens Park on Tuesday November 23, 1999, from 3 p.m. until 6:30 or 7 p.m. Please join us there.

The Liberal Party has confirmed that they plan to introduce a motion on the ODA to be debated on that afternnoon. It will be debated from 3:30 to about 6:30 p.m. or so. We ask you to arrive at Queens Park at 3 p.m.

The Liberal Party has two "Opposition Days" in each session. They have decided to devote this day to the ODA.

We are eager to have as many people present at the Legislature to observe these debates as possible, from as many places as possible. If possible, please let us know if you are able to come and how many people you might be bringing with you, so we can have a sense of the numbers to be present.

This will be the longest debate ever in the Ontario Legislature on the ODA. We will get more details to you shortly, and hope you can join us. Please circulate the word on this to as many people as you can, and encourage all to come and be part of this historic event on the road to a strong and effective Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
